    Even though she knew it was for the best, breaking up with Jian Yang was never going to be an easy conversation. So why, oh why, did he choose this exact moment to ask her something like that?

    I always felt like Tong Yao and Jian Yang's relationship was never expanded on enough in the novel and show, especially given how much it obviously impacted Tong Yao's mentality towards romantic relationships with e-sports players. This is my attempt at their story.
