Abandoned as a small child on the steps of the public library, Yoongi has always been alone. He had no recollection of his past and barely anyone he could call a friend. He has made the library a sort of sanctuary of sorts for when he needs to get away from it all. Eventually even becoming a librarian himself so that he wouldn't have to leave those comforting walls once he was grown.
This brings us to Taehyung, a mage with a mission. His world is falling apart at the seams and there's only one way to save it.
A prophecy that's over a hundred years old.
These two souls collide when on the night that Taehyung is finally able to complete the spell to summon the hero from the prophecy to him, Yoongi is sucked into a blank journal with a ruby in its center, bringing him to a world filled with magic and wonder the likes of which he has only seen in fairy tales. And just like in those fairy tales he is now part of something far more significant than he could have ever imagined. Everyone thinks he's this hero that's come to save them. When in reality, there was nothing that he could do but fake it and hope he doesn't die.
Because Taehyung had done the spell wrong.
