Struck with guilt, grief, and sorrow, Amaris lives on the outskirts of the Shire in solitude ever since the mysterious extinction of her species. She believes that she is to remain alone for the rest of her existence because of her guilt from the massacre of her people. After all, why did she deserve to live over everyone else that had died?
