Hunter Deal was ordinary. So amazingly ordinary she never had any trouble. Page her best friend was pregnant, Hunter now had the perfect job as a librarian, she was excelling in her college classes, and her dad was finally getting over her mother's death that occurred five years prior.

This perfect life was unknowingly about to end.

"I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned. The hard way. That some poems don't rhyme. And some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing. Having to change. Taking the moment and making the best of it. Without knowing what's going to happen next."-Gilda Radner
