Kacchan never liked any holiday really, but Izuku loved any of them, even ones he didn't personally celebrate just because of how much he loved his friends. If he didn't go, he knew the little broccoli would stay up in their rooms together for the entire night just so Katsuki wouldn't be alone, and miss out on all the fun.
