"I have a responsibility to these children." Nick reached for his staff and elongated it for the second time that day. "I'm not going to let you or anyone else get in the way of that."
The grin faltered slightly. "You plan to fight me?"
Santa lifted the glowing staff and pointed it at the Demon King's chest. "If I have to."
