unedited - inspired by my very first (sonic) fanfic ever from over a decade ago.

This is an AU where Sonic and Friends are sent back to Earth, but this time, they're humans.  a sudden natural disaster stikes the home of the MC and upon the panic finds 2 strange men in need of help.
the MC (OC or Y/N) if you want; (no use of y/n and non gendered).

But on the first night, they stop to stay over in a hotel in a secluded area. The place was practically empty, and they were the only people there apart from the owner, an old man. The place was dark and old, but the room they booked was more better kept, minus the dust. At night, Shadow-rin and Tails hear something, making them look around the dark halls in the middle of the night to investigate. The owner is hiding something, but they don't know what. And they don't want to find out.
