At camp Half-Blood, a young demigod named Kyla has just suffered a tragic loss which threatens to shatter her tenuous trust in the gods. In the land of Alagaesia, a young rider and his dragon embark on a foolish journey that will carry them further from home than they ever could have imagined. And in New York, a young boy who is more than he would seem is about to come face to face with his lineage and his destiny. And when they meet, the world will never be quite the same.

This story is a fanfiction crossover Dawn_Of_Fire and I have been working on between Percy Jackson and the Olympians and the Inheritance cycle. It follows the plot of the Lightening Thief but through the eyes of Kyla (OC) and with a focus on the OC's we created for this crossover. Contains many spoilers for the Inheritance Cycle scattered throughout, so consider this your spoiler warning.

Honest constructive criticism is welcome.

***UPDATE SEP 2017***
As anyone who stumbled onto this and noticed the publishing dates can probably guess, this story is on an indefinite hiatus. I am far more interested in writing the other story on my account, which is my own, completely original work. Dawn_Of_Fire is also focusing on her own works at present. We like the idea of finishing this story eventually because we already know how the whole thing is supposed to go and don't want to abandon it, but we're both focusing on other things at present. Sorry for any disappointment this causes, although, seeing as this story only has 200 views, I doubt anyone is that broken up.

All credit for Percy Jackson and the Olympians goes to Rick Riodan

All credit for the Inheritance Cycle goes to Christopher Paolini

I could give you a sob story about how tough Cressida Lynn's life has been, but you're not here for that. You're not here to hear about how terrible her mother treated her and how she only got her first birthday present at age nine or how no one outside her cabin liked her. No. You're here to hear about how her life changed the summer of her 12th birthday. The summer when Poseidon's son came crashing through the camp borders after he'd killed the Minotaur. You're here to hear about how they found the Lightning Thief. You're here to hear about how they ventured through the Sea of Monsters. You're here to hear about how they withstood the Titan's Curse. You're here to hear about how they fought in the Battle of the Labyrinth. You're here to hear about how they defended the Last Olympian. However, I must warn you that this journey is not for the faint-hearted for each quest is more treacherous than the last. And it is most certainly not for mortals. But, should you find yourself feeling brave, should you be a demigod in a past life, a present life or a future one, then I invite you to join me on this adventure. #1 in hades #1 in greekgodsandgoddesses #1 in lukecastellan #1 in titanwar #1 in dionysus #1 in pjofandom #4 in zeus #4 in seaofmonsters #9 in kronos #10 in labyrinth #12 in percyjacksonandtheolympians #17 in greekmythology #23 in annabethchase #36 in poseidon (Lightning Thief - Last Olympian) (Disclaimer: All rights go to the legendary Rick Riordan, I only own Cressida and any original scenes and dialogue I've written.) ***guys. i wrote this when i was 14 at the height of COVID-19. proceed w caution*** It's been a year after the Giant War, and things are going great for The Seven and friends. But a twist in the middle of summer make things go from heaven on earth to complete destruction. One sunny afternoon, Percy gets summoned to Olympus by his father. Naturally, Annabeth follows. When they arrive, Poseidon tells them that he want the 2 of them to go on a question in California, to retrieve a demigod. They wonder why a satyr can't do it, or why it has to be them, not anyone else. After a bit of convincing, they're on their way to Cali, via plane, credit to Zeus. What they don't know, is that another mysterious young demigod was also assigned to this quest. Hali Peterson. Now it was the next summer, and 15 year old Hali was living the dream in Southern California, occasionally going on different quests for her father. What happens when she meets her brother on one of these quests? I hope you like this!
