Katsuki had always hated Christmas. He associated the holiday with nothing but pain, so made the decision to avoid it as best he could. There was no point, after all. 
 Not like anyone cared enough to get him anything or even talk to him.

His friends had long since given up, so he didn't understand the need to celebrate a holiday that had only hurt him. It had never been a good experience for the blonde, simple as.

 ...unless this year, that all changed. Like if something happened that changed the narrative, finally allowed him to have good association instead of bad.
