You always have a fascination for monsters of all kinds and you want to make good friends with them as well as make a living in catching monsters humanely as possible. But most people don't really like monsters. Some are monster haters, some want to use them as slaves for their own benefits, and some just want them to die but you are different cause you want to catch them as humanely as possible. You were ostracized by society for this reason, but over time you learn to make gadgets, traps, and inventions to catch the monsters and to keep the public from hating you.
