After the attack on Wednesday, Enid was starting to unlock her powers, as a wolf she had finally gotten her powers. She was able to protect Wednesday against all the madness of that night, but she still had all that trauma built up she always kept a bright face in front of Wednesday. She had to keep it up otherwise she would crumble into a cave.
It had been a long break for Enid she did not have any contact with Wednesday through out the reminder of her break. It felt like a brick wall had stood between her and Wednesday. She had spent the long summer nights with Ajax, learning more about him she felt as if their was something not there. She felt empty without her Wednesday her best friend.
Finally she would see Wednesday and see everyone back at that school.........

(cross posted on ao3) au where Tyler is already attending Nevermore by the time Wednesday first joins. Obsessive, fast-paced, and still full of murder. (In typical Wednesday fashion). The boy was tall, his face boyish, his stance non-threatening but an air of dread surrounded him nonetheless. He was pretty, objectively. Strong but lithe. He looked up, meeting her eyes. She looked at him impassively, and his eyes darkened as he took her in. Clearly, he saw something that piqued his interest in the same way hers had been piqued. His aura screamed predator but his stance portrayed prey. Interesting. "Oh my God, Wednesday," Enid's shrill voice interrupted her observations, but Wednesday didn't break eye contact with the strange boy. "Don't look at him!" The girl's voice was shaky with fear. Wednesday turned to look at her, assessing her nervous form. Damn, the boy really was inspiring fear. Wednesday hoped she could quickly inspire the same effect. "Who is he?" "That's Tyler Gaplin.
