This story picks up from where the untamed version stops. 

Lan Wangji heard wangxian again. He went to where the sound leads him, his Wei Ying. Wei Wu Xian was there but with another person that will challenge the love of Wangji towards his Wei Ying.

Aside from the person whom Wei Wu Xian brought, another person who is left by the name Purple Disaster wreak the cultivation world again.

His heart was breaking as he could hear Lan Zhan wailing in his room, screaming his lungs out, pounding on the door violently - there was so much pain and sorrow in his sobs. But it was for the best so. They were both young, they'd get over each other quickly. Right? He let some time pass, before going into his brother's room, in hope that Lan Wangji had calmed down. When he entered the room he took a step back, it was scary to look at Lan Zhan. He jumped on him straight away, grabbing his robe, his eyes bloodshot, his knuckles bleeding - tears smeared all over his face and clothes. - How is he? Tell me how he is!!! Is he alright? Is he alive??? Talk to me, goddamn you, how is he??? Is he alive?!?

Jiang Cheng likes Wen Qing. Wen Qing likes Wei Wuxian. And Wei Wuxian, he likes to remind himself that he would be dog food decades ago if Jiang Cheng's father hadn't rescued him from the streets and given him shelter. So when she demands that he take her to the college dance Wei Wuxian had to pretend to have a girlfriend to get out of the situation but the problem is that she is his only female friend in college. So when he chances upon the prettiest face on campus he walks up to it and places a kiss on it. Only that face belongs to Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji turns to him and blinks. "Ah, here you are," he says and turning to Xue Yang introduces him, "That's my boyfriend," he says. Wei Wuxian's raised brow is met with a cold stare daring him to refute. He smiles widely in response and answers, "I'm Wei Wuxian, from Chemical Engineering," he says. "Xue Yang from Electrical, same as Lan Wangji," he states. The name Lan Wangji makes Wei Wuxian take a second look. Why you ask? Because the Lans own the campus and now Wei Wuxian just kissed the campus Prince. Xue Yang excuses himself, wondering hiw he didn't see that coming. Lan Wangji turns to Wei Wuxian and drags him by the sleeve. "Hey," Wei Wuxian objects. "You approached me," Lan Wangji pointed out. "I needed to turn down a girl for the college dance," Wei Wuxian explained. "Can you dance?" Lan Wangji asked coldly. "Some, yeah. Who can't?" Wei Wuxian exclaimed. Lan Wangji nodded. "Good. Rest I'll teach you, boyfriend. I need you to keep pretending to keep my best friend from sicking his sister on me. Deal?"

He wanted to stop his sister well knowing 'she' will hurt his sister too. He knew he can never escape. He just want his sister to escape. He just want to know whether his A-yang and A-zhan is doing well. One day wangji got a dragon fly message like the butterfly message but in this the voice can be heard.
