Have you ever felt alone even though people all around you? Have you ever faked a smile to the people who usually or used to make you genuinely happy? Well, Gerard Way goes through this everyday. He has to deal with a drunk, abusive boyfriend. Gerard just wants the old Bert that he loved, but he will never be the same and it's damaging. It's hurting Gerard and Bert because Gerard takes care of Bert, but he feels so lonely and fucking depressed. Gerard just wants someone who will really love him and not have feelings for a few months then act like he fucking hates him and wants to kill him almost every moment of his life because of his asshole friends. Isn't that what Gerard deserves?

Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. He tried not too, but every morning he was forced to remember that he was abandoned at the age 4, as he woke up in the foster facility with his brother, Mikey.
