The third part of a four-part series, the Gator relaxes the action and takes things slowly, and eases the tension brought by the previous two stories. Taking place a year after the last story (the Hare), Dennis and Christine live a mostly quiet life in the nearby town of Red John. Living under their new names, Teddy West and Megan Heart, their lives have, for the most part, returned to normal, or so it seems as they have to deal with the trauma of their past. The Gator takes inspiration from Hush, The Strangers, and Halloween 2018. The Gator is meant to be a slow burn, where it takes a while until the horror kicks in, but don't let that distract you from "The Real Picture". For nothing is normal in our world that we live in. Stare deep into the abyss, the abyss will stare back.

Yoonji heard a car approaching their way. Her body moved itself closer to the dark alley and the mysterious figure in order to protect herself along with her stuff from any dirty rain water that may be splashed onto her. The car passed by behind her, but the headlights provided her even vision for Yoonji to fully see the gruesome scene that was happening literally a few meters away from her spot. In a couple of brief seconds Yoonji's mind registered 4 major things; 1) The guy was wearing a bunny mask and the two vertical things that she saw earlier pointing away from his head were actually the mask's ears. 2) The horizontal shape that the bunny masked guy was messing with was actually a girl around her age wearing the same uniform as her. 3) The girl's mouth and eyes were wide open in an unnatural way. Her eyes also looked like they couldn't see anything. 4) The Bunny mask was holding a now drippy bloody knife in one hand and a human arm in the other. But on January 17, 2017, a person named Ethan was killed by two masked killers in the middle of the night. Now on January 18, 2017, history repeats itself as teenagers die inside of the house, one by one within minutes. With Seth injured by the car crash the night before and Blythe was left all alone and surrounded by two people who had a motive to kill Blythe as a retaliation for the recent events since 2 months ago, how would this "horrifying fight for your life" situation came to an end with so many lives lost? When the criminal investigation started the next morning, they found a same piece of evidence that marks the next event waiting to happen... Over and over again... According to the IRS, Cale made a passive income from online music streaming - or so said his Schedule SE Form 1040 - but the music was nothing more than AI generated elevator ambience, and his listenership were mostly chatbots programmed to "like and subscribe." According to the FBI, Cale would be legally classified as a "contract killer," should he ever get arrested or go to trial for his work. But that term was problematic for a few reasons; first and foremost, "killer" makes for a pretty poor resume keyword, and more importantly, Cale's victims were never technically "killed." That is, if he did his job correctly. But when Cale suspects that someone important to him has been "unalived," who can he turn to that would believe him? The combination lock on his locker showed the number placed in a counter clockwise fashion. The school cheers as a boy that was suspended was being chased by alligators at a pool. Though the thing that makes this school very different from the school that he knew was that people at this school have a saying "Being bad is good". Though Owen somehow shifts into this unfamiliar version of this school with the sound of the school bell. Also, somebody is after him. This person looks exactly like Owen. Although he seems a bit bad. Can Owen avoid his double? Or will he be forced to live in the unfamiliar version of his world for good?Complete

Every 3,000 years, the stars would align, opening a portal to a world of unknown power. Y/N tried to reason with him, but it was too late. He became immortal, but at a price. His brotherhood was turned to stone. And Y/N? She was forced into immortality alongside her father, as the gods saw punishing her for his wrongdoings was a fitting fate for the king. 13 monsters were unleashed into our world. The king was left on earth, unable to die or forget his mistake. Y/N, trapped in time by her father, never forgave him for what he'd done. She always stays close though, hopeful her father has seen the error of his ways. The monsters that were unleashed, contine to plague mankind to this very day. I know, another stupid story idea, but I think this one is an alright one. _______________________________________________ Being a fan of the Neptunia series after watching Lost Pause play the first two games I've read a lot of Hyperdimension Neptunia stories, because it's fun seeing how people can take characters like Neptune and put them in really entertaining scenarios that the games haven't yet. One thing I noticed about the more serious stories is that when it involves someone from Earth suddenly in Gamindustri, they move on from the fact they can't see their friends and family again. Some do but they usually move on quickly. Mainly because they don't have anything tying them to their old home. What if someone was in that same position, only he is completely shattered by the idea that he won't see his friends and family again? What if he couldn't just quickly move on from that and is too scared to get close to anyone now? Think about it, if you were currently ripped from this world and shoved into the next without your consent or knowledge you'd be destroyed by the fact that you're never going back home. _______________________________________________ Neptune, the protagonist of protagonists, finds a young, unconscious guy in a forest when she actually decided to work for once. She takes him to her home, telling her CPU friends about it they fly over to her to see if she was joking or not and finds it's legit. When he wakes up they find out he's not from this world, and he's not taking it very well.Complete
