What is solipsism? Solipsism is the belief that everything around you was created by your imagination.
14 year old River has been genetically modified her whole life. As a matter of fact, she's barely human. Nearly daily, she's put through torturing, life-threatening tests. She just wants it all to end. However, Captain has made death impossible. He tells her that she will play an important role in saving the world. But wouldn't River need to learn to save herself first?

Shadows of the Forsaken
Ever since she could remember, the experiments had been part of her life. As a child, they were harmless-just puzzles and strange potions given to her by the woman she called Mother. Back then, she believed it was all a game, a way to make her smarter, stronger. But as she grew, the tests changed. They became invasive. Painful. Each experiment carved new scars into her skin and left her mind tangled in unanswered questions. The woman she once trusted had become a stranger, her warmth replaced by cold calculation. And then the voices started. A shadow lurked within her, whispering, clawing at the edges of her sanity. She wasn't alone in her own body-something else had been forced inside her. Something ancient. Something hungry. Now, she's free... but for how long? With the past chasing her and the monster inside threatening to take control, she's left with one question: Was she ever meant to survive, or was she only meant to become something else?
Abandoned.
I never realised that everything i was feeling would somehow come to life. This is a story based on real life events and some fiction. Its up to you to decide what is real and what isnt. This story follows a girl who is constantly reminded about her bad choices and how she cant escape whats in her mind. Every time she feels safe, its taken away. So she decides to make a choice one that will either harm everyone she meets or will save her life. She feels like she is destined to walk alone then he notices something dark, a presence she never noticed. Until now.Completa
Lost
Sometimes, I'm not always sure what to do. I feel like I'm always wrong, like I'm never good enough. I'm invisible and it's as if I don't exist. If I really didn't exist, I don't think anyone would care. I'm all alone in this great big world, I'm lost. Maddie has never been good enough for anyone. Her perfect sister, Megan, always manages to outshine her. Her father never pays attention to her, because he's always worried about Megan. Every Tuesday and Thursday, Maddie goes to group therapy, where she shares her feelings. Every week it's the same thing, until Maddie gets a new lab partner: Zach Williams, every girl's dream date. WARNING: I wrote this book when I was really, really young. It is very poorly written and has a TON of grammatical errors. I'm working on editing/rewriting this.Completa
Suicidal
This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old. If you'd like an updated and more well-written version, please read my other story entitled "Remembering".
