Elizabeth Hale practically grew up with Tony Stark. She was there for it all. His parents' death, his disappearance, the emergence of Iron Man, and the fallout of it all. Events that shaped his world, but left hers unclear.
So she stepped away.
Four years in Boston to give her distance and focus on her future, fighting the choice between med school or another path.
But it's coming on time to put the puzzle pieces back into place. After all, there's only so long you can stay away from the board.
It feels like everything about his life has changed since she was last around, and it's unclear if she still has the same place in it she once had. Even if she did, it's about to be tossed sideways by new people, new tensions, new dangers, and perhaps a newfound safety amidst the chaos of it all.

Romanogers: Cold as Ice
First, this is a fanfic for Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Steve Rogers/Captain America. Second, this will kind of go through the MCU timeline but not a lot. It will jump around and have some new parts. Third, I don't know everything about the Avengers but I know enough (I think). Fourth, this might have spelling errors and I'm sorry if it does.
