After her mother got killed by Azog, Maethoriel used to wander trough middle earth hunting orcs, always searching for the pale orc to get her revenge. One day Lord Elrond asks her to lead a company of dwarfes trough middle earth, to reclaim their homeland Erebor. This journey could be her chance to finally find Azog and kill him, so she decides to do it.

Although Erebor is his once more, Thorin knows there is still a great threat to the peace of Middle Earth. Azog is gone, but another has taken his place and has sworn to finish what Azog began. Erebor is back, but it's sadly lacking in protection and as much as he hates the thought of it, Thorin knows there is one thing that will guarantee the safety and continuation of his line. War is coming and all Eirlys of Mirkwood wishes to do is fight alongside her brother Legolas and the other elves, united with Men and Dwarves in their attempt to quell the renewed tensions between them and the orc army of the north. The Lord of the Rings: An unlikely Reincarnation
After Isildur cut the One Ring from Sauron's hand, Sauron's soul split. While one half followed the canon path, the other half was flung across Middle-earth, taking the last remaining fragment of Mairon and something more. This story will start in The Hobbit and continue on to The Lord of the Rings. (English isn't my first language, so please excuse all of my grammatical mistakes.)
