SUMMARY:
The lone Wanderer returns to his homeland in hope of understanding his new fate and to find a piece of his past he has yet to remember. He meets Kazuha while boarding the infamous Crux and now while living as "Kuni", he faces the reality after his attempt to change the past in him being granted a new body: one that is turning human or close to it. It is unknown why fate has done so but now that he had ruined everything, how could he possibly complain?

Similarly, the samurai longs for red maples back home as the date of his close friend's passing comes near. Now homesick, he finally travels back to the nation of eternity but meets the stand-offish Wanderer, who Kazuha's interest grows in the longer the two wanderers grow closer together.

But love has been known to inspire and destroy all that it comes across.

"What?"

"You've done fine work in that regard." Kazuha says and moves his gaze up to Kuni. "Congratulations are in order."
