Azaria is a part of the Metkayina water tribe. Being the eldest daughter of chief Tonowari, she holds responsibilities that no one else in the tribe holds. Every night at the eclipse she has duties to do to make sure her and her family live a happy and safe life.
But days after an Omaticayan family came to them for help, she was no longer spending the eclipse doing her duties, but instead hanging out with a foreign Na'vi.
