Generations of people stuck underground for fear of the surface. The reason behind it has long since been forgotten, but people are still terrified anyways. A scientist coming too close to the truth  of the surface meets a man who has come too close to the horrors of the underground. Together will they be able to bring humanity to the surface? Or are the dangers of the new underground world just a fraction of what is awaiting up there?
