An annual family gathering has Eliza wishing for a date. She wants her family’s trust and approval, but her love life is a failure; that is until she meets Ryder.
Ryder is from a middle class family. Ryder realizes he is the perfect guy for Eliza’s boy trouble and she is the perfect answer to his prayers. When he offers a marriage proposal, he neglects to mention his important secret. She on the other hand accepts it without thinking, not realizing the mistake in doing this.
