Zhang Liao was a fierce warrior who served under those such as Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu. After the capture of Xiapi and Lu Bu's demise under Cao Cao, Zhang Liao finds himself spared. Joining the army of Wei, Zhang Liao is grateful to have a second chance at life. Despite his growing success and friendships in the Wei kingdom, Liao still finds himself unfulfilled, constantly asking himself what a warrior's path is, and what reason does he truly fight for. All that changes when he meets Lady Liena, sister-in-law to Cao Cao. With blossoming feelings he has never felt before, he finds his path altered, and his future forever changed.
