One night a year the line between nobility and the common fades for a grand ball. Its the one day where you are not judged for who you are and whom you associate yourself with. It is also the night that rivals can mingle with no malicious intent. It was on this night that my life changed for the better or the worse.
Evangeline is the youngest princess of the Kingdom of Whitefall. One day while she is out hunting she is approached by a bear, fortunately, she is saved by the intervention of another hunting party, the hunting party from avalon. Evangeline supposes that the man who killed the bear must have been the prince and, having a rather romantic mind, immediately spots the implications. She wishes to forge a bond with the prince of Avalon, however, the relationship between her kingdom and his is dark. Evangeline's father plots out raids into the kingdom of avalon and so the kingdom's do not get along. Evangeline realises the only chance she'll have is the Mixto Ball, all the kingdoms meet in a masquerade.
