When the cure arrived everyone was so quick to take it, they never thought of what it would actually do to the future. Being cured was step one, once you were cured you would feel younger, and with more doses you became herculean. When being a colossus became the norm what was the next step? A God? 

That's what they didn't anticipate. That's where everything went wrong. 

After enough doses, the human body began over producing and mutating white blood cells. Red blood cells become so strained to supply oxygen to such sinew physics that they would die after a few days. 

Blood donations and transfusions became the quick "solution". A long-term "solution".

There are so few of us left with blood untainted enough for others to use.
When will it be enough? when will they be satiated?

The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With approximately 2,500 people left in America and 15,000 left in the world, it isn't often you come across someone just passing by, there are three main groups that stick together The Beati, who are the apocalyptic version of a hippy, The Operarios Group (just normal people trying to survive), and then of course The Reluquos the power hungry killers who execute anyone who try's to get in their way or disagrees with them. Oh and then there are just the Loners like me hoping to find somewhere they can fit in and belong. I don't know what made me go this route but for some reason I did and now I'm standing face to face with a Reluquos Army Leader. His strong arm grips onto my Shoulder stopping me from moving, He regards me coolly studying my face for signs of fear, which I'm trying my damned hardest to suppress. Finally he talks....
