Remus wanted to tell Sirius his feelings, too bad that this night was a full moon. So he wanted to wait till the next day. But this particular night was the one where everything changed. Sirius pulled the "Prank" on Severus and Remus couldn't stand to look him in the eyes anymore. But why did he still love him? And why did Sirius not show any remorse at all?
Trying to get payback at Sirius, Remus had an idea: Fake-Dating Regulus Black.
When Remus approached Regulus, who was still mad at Sirius for leaving him for James, he said yes. If Regulus would've known what he just did, he'd have said no.
