Dragons.
Yes, this story has dragons.
But if you thought for one second that it was a How To Train Your Dragon fic, think for another.

Aster sighed with her head in her hands. She had failed to bond with any of the dragons at the School, and as the most docile, you would be hard-pressed to fail such an easy task.
But as it looked now, Aster's family legacy would be let down by the fact that simply, all the dragons they had just did not like her.
Her family was going to be furious.

How to Train Your Dragon Fanfic PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS "For the Love of Tides" This is a character X OC story - NOT AN X READER (I know the pain of opening a story that says X reader only to find its an X OC. literally infuriating.) On the island of Dumais, a baby was sent across the sea as her homeland was engulfed by war. A woman, rather a mother, traveled with the baby girl. The two sailed across stormy seas before landing on an island called Berk. This island is were the baby grew and found herself with mixed feelings for the dragon beast and for a certain boy, rather the Chiefs son. Only things don't turn out the way she thought after that one night.
