Piper Ortiz has aspirations. She wants to make a name for herself in the photography community and being hired to take photos for Dartmouth's athletics is just the stepping stone she needs to put herself out there. It feels as if all her hard work has finally paid off. That is until she is told her team assignment.

Barret Cohen's love for hockey was unrivaled. It came before everything, no matter what; but it wasn't his first love. No, that title belonged to a brown-eyed girl he broke three years earlier. Now, a junior in college, he has put love behind him, claiming no time for frivolous things that won't last. But when she shows up, in his team's locker room no less, Barret decides he isn't going to let his other half get away a second time.
