878 A.D. On a marshy island, the king of Wessex is in hiding. His young daughter, Aethelflaed, is watching his every move.

For almost a hundred years, Vikings have terrorized England's four kingdoms, devouring lands like a hungry wolf. The kingdom of Wessex is the last to stand - that is, until the Vikings are at their doorstep.

Aethelflaed, the daughter of King Alfred, flees with her family into the swampy marshes of Somerset. There, they stay hidden until they can plot to win their kingdom back. But the Vikings are ravaging Wessex, and all the men who could help to fight back have surrendered their heathen conquerors.

Alfred must act quickly to save his kingdom. Aethelflaed, the young princess, is frustrated and helpless. The only thing she has to offer is her prayers. As they rush to strike the Vikings before the location of their marshy exile is detected, she discovers that her prayers might have more power than she thinks.

The kingdom of Wessex is at stake. For the young girl Aethelflaed, who hopelessly watches the war unfold, a destiny has been set in motion. After a century of defeat, will God help them now?

On the island kingdom of Wynther, where emerald forests meet snow-capped mountains and sparkling seas, a powerful legacy once thrived-one born of dragons and the ancient bloodline that could control them. For centuries, the kingdom flourished under the rule of King Eryndor Wynmire, a wise and noble leader, and his queen, Ellara. Their reign was marked by peace, prosperity, and an unbreakable bond with the dragons who once roamed freely in the skies above. But that peace was shattered when Draeven Malvoryx, a dark and ambitious warlord, sought to seize the ancient power hidden within the bloodline of the Wynmire family. Driven by his lust for control over the dragons, Draeven launched a brutal attack, killing the king, conquering the land, and imprisoning Queen Ellara. The people of Wynther were left broken, their homes razed, their hearts crushed beneath the weight of defeat. The kingdom's greatest hope, Ardyn Wynmire, the king's only son, was presumed dead in the chaos of the war-his body lost to the flames of battle. But fate had other plans. Saved by a skilled archer, Kaela Sylvanhart, Ardyn lives, though broken and haunted by the loss of his family and the fall of his kingdom. Yet within him lies a secret-a power that, if awakened, could change the tide of war: the ability to call upon the dragons, a power passed down through his bloodline for generations. However, that power is dormant, and Ardyn struggles to awaken it. A journey of survival, redemption, and discovery lies ahead. For Ardyn, the battle for Wynther is not only a fight for his people, but a fight to reclaim the legacy of his ancestors-and to face the darkness that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear. The dragons are returning. And their fate, like the fate of the kingdom itself, lies in the hands of the one who can awaken their power.

Medieval England - Year 1450: Eleanor was a poor shopkeeper's daughter whose only hope for a better life for herself and her family was to marry well. When she caught the eye of Thomas Fletcher, a royal courtier of noble blood, her family thought he was the answer to all their problems. Eleanor thought he was unattractive and rude, but she didn't have any better options as a poor commoner so she accepted his proposal. They just had to somehow convince King Henry that she was a suitable bride for Thomas so he would approve of their union, because marrying Thomas meant that she would join Henry's inner circle as a courtier. At just twenty three years old Henry had to take over as the King of England when his father passed away unexpectedly. On his first day presiding over the royal court, he was faced with a tough decision, should he approve Thomas' marriage to Eleanor, a commoner that he was almost certain was unfit to join his Royal Court? He decided the only fair way to decide was to have her stay at his castle for a week as his guest so he could see for himself if she had what it took to withstand the pressure of the life of a royal courtier. What King Henry didn't count on was the feelings that started to grow for that commoner throughout the week. She was already betrothed to someone else and even if she wasn't, a King could never marry a commoner. But he also couldn't ignore the growing need he felt inside to be with her, even if it would throw his country into a civil war and turn both of their lives upside down. He knew some things were worth fighting for.
