Permadeath: a permanent death in video games, where the player cannot respawn. Used to fight against hackers. Essentially Hardcore Minecraft.
But what if this wasn't in video games?
What if it was real life?
Now, if you die once, you die in reality.
Five years ago, Grian joined Hermitcraft as a chance to escape.
A chance to have a normal life again.
He's finally at peace, but he cannot escape his past.
He knows he can probably make it, but for everyone else....

Sam was gone, for good, Mumbo had killed him and he hadn't respawned. He was dead. Grian trusted in the kindness of the world and he opened up, but that was his biggest mistake.
