Oxygen is poison. Her life has no direction and she knows. Things couldn't possibly be worse.

Elise Santana has been living with her much older brother and his family for nearly a decade, and she doesn't have a plan for when she's inevitably kicked out after graduating high school. That's not her biggest problem, though. She's more worried about making her life more interesting.

When a bizarre theory about 'noxious oxygen' enters her mind during a news interview, she blurts it out to world. This leads to a wild string of events that kills her old, mundane life-and replaces it with one she's not quite sure she can handle.

"I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around. "You got the 'little' part right there, Princess!" he shouted after me. I threw up my middle finger back to him and heard him laugh as I exited out the doors rather dramatically. ... I'm tired of all those high school stories about a straight-A girl student with the perfect life who falls for the stereotypical Mr. Bad Boy who wears leather black jackets and only has a soft spot for her. COMPLETED The existence of grammatical errors, misplaced words etc. is exorbitant as the majority of the book had been written when I was 13. The sentence that you have just read could exactly describe the situation I am in. - - - Have you ever been put in a situation in which you can't speak, think or move? Well, I had. And it wasn't in front of anyone, but in front of the school's supposedly bad boy. Hooray me, am I right? I am one of those outsider girls, who doesn't like to associate with anyone, and, on top of that, a so-called teacher's pet, too. Although that didn't seem to stop the bad boy from taking an interest in me. Funnily enough, he wasn't the person to initiate a conversation by simply approaching me. That was in no way possible, of course. It's a lot more complicated than that... Well, actually it's not that complex... He saw me naked, that's the reason... - - - CLICHÉ STORY! It's the end. Obliteration. It came out obvious with Martians starting to act like jerks, but what Destiny did not know was that she was involved in stopping it and causing it. Talk about double acting. There were other things she did not know before she laid foot on the school with the rickety old gate. She didn't know everything about her life was a big, fat lie. She didn't know her parents were criminals. She didn't know that her planet was crawling with tomato addicts. At least one. But things get way more worse when her sister gets kidnapped by the Martians. With dozens of people dead and her own life in danger, will she possibly choose to take a risk with a problem involving her known family and two separate planets?

"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. I took in a deep breath before taking his face in both of my hands and swooping down to kiss him. At first, I was so nervous I didn't realize that we were already kissing but after a few moments, I realized how soft his lips felt on my own. Before I can register it I felt him moving against me. I would have gotten off of him but I realize that he wasn't moving to get away from me. No, He was moving his lips against mine." °°°°° Aiden Moore isn't extraordinary. He has average looks, he is OK with sports, and his only strong point is that he is smart (although that doesn't mean much to his fellow classmates).
