Every year, Augustine spends the summer at her family's lake house. This year, she has a new neighbor. A young boy named James is renovating his uncle's lake house in return for a place to stay for the summer. With this, he is forced to leave behind his lover, Betty, as she stays in their hometown. With James and Augustine's newfound acquaintanceship, sparks fly.
