This is a prequel fan fiction to The Nymph's Redemption, this is the origins of Acantha and how she came to be in her crimes. It will take us through the Holy War and perhaps even before that.
Acantha's story doesn't simply begin the way it does in the first book. there is still much we dont know about this delightful little nymph. She will face demons much stranger than those of red and gray.
What drove Acantha to the madness mortals feared her for? And just what went on in her lifetime that she had forgotten?

Or will grief ruin any chance of happiness between the shadow and the light?
A Court of War and Sacrifice
A year has passed since Seren Marzena returned to the Night Court with her mate, Azriel. Their time of rest is coming to an end. Plans long kept silent are now being enacted. All across Prythian, threats are revealing themselves. The three Mortal Queens have returned and pledged their allegiance to Koschei, an ancient god who is determined to see Prythian crumble beneath him. Old allies are becoming new enemies as Koschei's influence spreads. He and the Queens must be defeated before they locate Prythian's most powerful artifacts. Time is running out for everyone. If the Courts cannot band together and summon their remaining allies in time, all will be lost. Seren isn't willing to see that happen, and she will do whatever she can to aid her family in their fight to save Prythian. Unable to live with himself after what happened on the island Inmortui, Wynter chose to go into seclusion and face his lingering trauma alone. Regardless of his attempts to isolate himself, there are those who refuse to abandon him, no matter how badly he wishes they would. Elodie Rohese has carried a fondness towards Wynter since she first met him, just before he was kidnapped by Melantha.
