All alone, in the middle of nowhere ... your wife by your side and you son right next to you. A perfect camping trip, in James' opinion. The only thing, his son is as old as him, and his wife, is not presently his wife.
Plus, he's out with a detestable Slytherin. And that Hufflepuff who always landed himself in detention. After what happened in Potter Manor's kitchen (it was all quite wicked, in his not-so-humble opinion) with a few time-travellers dropping out on top of their heads - figuratively, of course - our 'dashing hero' (his words, not mine) is now off to become a soul-hunter, aided and abetted by his son, his perfectly beautiful about-to-be wife and wait ... Moony shagged who?

I told you so Moons. Anyways, after deserting his best-est mate into the evil clutched of his Death Eater brother ("he's not a Death Eater, Prongs"), our favourite hero is now off to destroy soul trinkets, with the 'babbling bumbling band of baboons' his darling Lilypad wanted (he still didn't get what that meant) and Moony's SON. ("It's not a big deal, Prongs").
It's chaos, it mayhem, it's James Fleamont Potter, and honestly - he loves every moment of it.

The New Boy in Town
This is going to be set in the summer before fifth year at Hogwart's. Harry had always believed in Dumbledore and never doubted him that is until he was forced into the triwizard tournament by said man. While Dumbledore had left him all alone in the hell he was forced to participate in he thought that his friends would stick by him through all of this, but no they turned on him thinking that he had put his name in to get him even more fame than he already had. Ron was the jealous one while Hermione was the one thinking that he had broken some rules to do something that would give him yet another adventure. Harry was then left to rely on the only person that was willing to help him and that was 'Alastor Moody' aka Barty Crouch Jr. As Harry was getting the help of an actual adult that cared for him and seemed like he wanted him to survive they got closer. Barty soon told Harry everything but Harry didn't really care mainly because at least they had never lied to him or with held information form him. So while it got closer to the last task Harry was real close friends with Barty and they had already brought Voldemort back to his former glory of Tom Riddle. Tom and Barty had found out that Harry was Tom's accidental Horcrux they couldn't really fix it without killing Harry and as it was they both thought of him as their family. So when that last task arrived Harry didn't take the cup but Cedric did and he had won while Harry and Barty had 'mysteriously' disappeared. They both arrived with there things in front of Gringott's with Tom already waiting on them and this is where the story begins.

Writing this for a contest: (prompt 44) In the middle of a storm, a stranger arrives at her cabin, and she offers them shelter. But the storm's forecast said they'll be stuck for much longer than expected. *************** She was a squib, and she lived in the middle of the woods away from society. Her parents were purebloods, but they passed away from Dragon Pox, leaving the girl alone. She was raised away from society because her parents wanted to keep her safe from the wizarding world. Her parents raised her without magic, or if they did use magic, it was when she wasn't around or wasn't paying attention. She was oblivious to magic, because she had never seen it before. So, when a stranger arrives at her cabin in the middle of a wild storm, she was hesitant, because she had never been around anyone but her own parents before. When the forecast came through that the storm made it impossible for everyone to leave their homes, she realized she was stuck with the stranger longer than she anticipated. The stranger had an almost threatening aura around him, and that scared her slightly, but she couldn't help but feel intrigued by him. What she didn't know, was in the wizarding world, there was a special thing called soul mates. This stranger had arrived by accident, but there was reason. He had been trying to get away from the evil of his father, and went in search of his soul mate, but the storm slowed him down, unknowingly bringing him right to his soul mate's front door...
