AU: Witch Will and Wendigo Hannibal

Hannibal Lecter lived a simple life in a cliffside manor, where he lived comfortably. When he meets a professor by the name of Willl Graham, his past life begins haunt him. Strange occurances and supposed-mythological beings begin to show themselves in the form of omens and fleeting glances. The doctor knew Will was special when they first met, regardless of his empathy or his forensic skills. This theory was only proven when Will becomes the chosen student of a millenia-old entity teaching magick of the old gods. Only when said entity becomes known do threats between realms make themselves known. Hannibal is torn between staying beside Will and their makeshift murder family to make sure they're protected and leaving to Barrenwood to put an end to his old life.

The rise of Barrenwood pushes the limits of love and loyalty between Hannibal and Will. How will newcomers help or endanger them? Will Hannibal be forced to leave when his species is discovered or is Will going to stay by his side regardless? Where do their adopted children lie in all this chaos?

((I DO NOT own the Hannibal series, all respective characters belong to their rightful owner. Only the plot, few character inserts, realm names, Fenein, and Barrenwood itself belong to me. It will be pretty easy to tell what belongs to me and what doesn't if you're familiar with the show or the books, which I will also reference.
