All Eliana Harred ever wanted was to be part of the popular crowd "The Stella's" so in her junior year when she's finally accepted she works hard to follow all the rules of the group. But when Eliana finds out there are rules for the summer too, she's worried. How can she host a party when she's in Michigan, not at home in the small town of Atwood, Tennessee. How can she go shopping at every mall within driving distance if she'll be in the middle of nowhere, no malls in sight.

Eliana isn't ready for the summer to come because she knows she'll never fit in if she must leave all summer. But sometimes when you expect the worst, you find something more.
