Evie is just beginning her first semester of college in a rural town in a community college that is so small it's hard not to know everyone. When she thought she had met everyone, Vera walked into her philosophy class. Vera, opposite from Ross, had black hair that brushed against her jawline, and seems like the last thing she remembered that day was coming to class. On the other hand, Ross was already in her seat, light brown curls formed in ringlets around her face, and her much too heavy pack back occupied the seat next to her.
The two girls, seemingly so different, sat just three seats away from each other. Unaware of what this semester of college would bring.
