Killua had only one reason to go to public school, to get an actual degree. Sure he'd passed high school when he was 12, but he hadn't actually gotten a certificate for it. It wasn't official, much less legal. He was dreading school, but if he ever wanted to get a legitimate job, or go to college, he needed to get a high school diploma. So there he was, sitting in a public school, trying not to lose his mind.
