They call her Shadow, since she can work with shadows, around the shadows, in them.  Nobody knows her name, nor does anybody knows how she ended up in the hands of Hydra.  And nobody, not even Hydra, knows how she got her powers.  Her ability to manipulate shadows and become them, and even allow others to become shadows if she so pleases.

  So, what happened to her?  Why hasn't anybody been looking for her?  And how'd she become the partner to the infamous 'Winter Soldier'?

  °This is an AU, so anything that varies from the movies is not a mistake, but what I want to happen because this is my book, and adding a new character into a storyline changes things.

When Jodie was two, Wade decided to join an underground fight club, but only a year later, he was killed in a scuffle with a man twice his size over a bet. Harlow was given full custody of Jodie, and she and the small child moved to the apartment to get away from all of the sad memories of Wade. Three years later, Harlow and Jodie were surprised to see a man moving into the small apartment next to theirs. The apartment was very small, and from what Harlow seen, the man really didn't have much to move in. Each day, Harlow and Jodie would watch the man leave, only for him to come back with a small bag of fruit.
