Sarah Elizabeth, a pregnant teen, goes missing at age 16. Six years later her best friend and father of her child, Lucas Danes, who is also a cofounder of Danes enterprises receives a call that his almost six year old daughter randomly shows up in his small hometown in Kansas. Now, Lucas Danes is twenty two years old, owns a huge business, is super rich, and he travels back to meet his daughter for the very first time. After that, weird things starts to happen. Lucas starts getting weird texts from an unknown number, letters with only one word on them keeps showing up at his penthouse, and weird than anything else his young daughter is acting strange.

This story starts when Amy comes home from Europe, but Amy is not the Amy who left Heartland 4 months ago. This Amy is like the original Amy when she was 15/16, more outspoken, won't be pushed around and she'll stand up for herself which Lou will discover herself. Amy had 4 months with no Family bossing her around or trying to control her, which Lou seemed to enjoy as she was better and smarter than the rest of the family as far as she thought.
