Himari Yume, a 24-year-old Physician at Himari Hospital was left with no choice but to have a fixed marriage with the eldest son of the most elite family of assassins, Illumi Zoldyck.
Himari Hospital is currently owned by her mother, Himari Ryuji, a powerful woman who keeps the Himari Legacy going in Japan. They are a family of people involved in the medical field, as Ryuji herself is the Head and Medical Director of the hospital. She is also an attending surgeon. On the other hand, her partner, Himari Yugure, who has decided to take on his wife's last name, is a neurosurgeon.
As the only child, upon birth, Yume was already carrying the title to be the next in line to keep the Himari Legacy going. Especially when the incident occurred...to save the family's face, she was forced to be the bride of Illumi Zoldyck while Ryuji and Yugure were covering up for the biggest mistake that Yume had ever committed.
One who saves lives, and one who takes them.
