My Phoenix Empress

Gu Meilian doesn't know much about the world outside the cottage, her home. She only knows the stories told by the people who come by to seek medical help from her father, a pharmacist.

While living her peaceful life, she meets new people that show her how wonderful the world outside her bubble is and encounters different experiences she never thought she would experience.

Meilian meets the young master, Zhong Jian Sheng, of Heaven's Sword Sect. She feels a deep connection to him but never realizes they have already met a few lifetimes before.

Both seek out answers to who they really are and how they ended up in the mortal realm, and apart from each other with no recollection of their previous lives.
