The Industrial Revolution has brought about changes that none would have foreseen, both positive and negative.
In the town of Bridgnorth, the air remains un polluted and the trees thrive with life. The townsfolk wave away any attempts by factory owners to let them build their smoke spewing buildings. The local detective, Neville Carfield embraces the lack of violence and hopes that the town never resorts to aggression as an answer to a problem.
As Halloween draws near, a series of brutal murders begin to worry locals with no end in sight. Neville is forced to give up his peaceful lifestyle as he rushes to find the culprit and remove the fear from the locals hearts.
But as the body count continues to rise, Neville's sanity and willpower are pushed to its limits.
