Rowen is the elder more methodical and calculating half sister of Isabella swan.
While Bella was whisked away to live with her mom Reneé. Rowen stayed with her father in forks. She wasn't one to be easily held down.

Caius volturi a stoic, yet outspoken and traditional man, he was warrior battle trained, he never missed a step. Of course he had his prejudices against the children of the moon after they killed his wife.
He never hoped to find his mate, so he never looked that is until she was standing in his throne room.

The two had it rough, their duty and responsibility to the throne and their families outweighed their need to run away from it all. Their obligations lied with eachother, they were a dangerous pair together but apart they were almost worse.

Caius never knew pain that came with the enigma of the mate bond until he met Rowen.
