When Penny moves to Pasadena, California to get a better life she brings her four-year-old daughter whom she had from a one-night stand with her. Penny and her daughter Kailani encounter challenges along their journey but meet new friends and create a family along the way. Penny and Kailani's relationship had always been a bit strained because Kailani was mostly raised by her grandparents. Though a move and new friends across the hall changed that.All Rights Reserved
