It's been a year and a half since Lucas the Apprentice met the de Rune siblings, and they have been sheltering with the other orphans of Chateau D'Ombrage for most of that time. Lucas had been working on the elixir from the book Sanguinis Itinera and is becoming increasingly frustrated at his lack of advancement with it. Hugo is degrading quite suddenly over the fears that his mother may be dead by now. After further questioning, Lucas realizes they're going to need more than what he has his makeshift laboratory.
