The story follows Luigi, the meek and timid plumber, as he unexpectedly falls madly in love with Bowser, the short-tempered and power-hungry Koopa king.

Despite their differences and the taboo nature of their relationship, Luigi is determined to win Bowser's affections and prove his worth. He must navigate a world of danger and intrigue as he battles for Bowser's attention, all while struggling with his own insecurities and doubts. As they work through their differences and learn to trust and support each other, Luigi and Bowser find happiness in their unconventional and asymmetrical relationship. But they must also face criticism and challenges from those around them, including Luigi's own brother Mario, who is determined to undermine their bond.
