Nameera Ahmed died in the battle against the Omaticaya, the one that sent all humans back to Earth after failing against the Na'vi the first time. But she's back, only due to the backup plan of copying her memories and bestowing them upon a recombinant grown in a lab. A prodigal teenager showing promise as the savior of humanity is too important to lose to a mortal death.

And no matter how many times they assure her she's the same, something is wrong. Something is different, even her memories before her death are hazy. The truth is being hidden and she's picking up on it. Yet, devils walking among them in the skin of humans are whispering encouragements of destruction in her ear.
