"Queen Of The Pirates?" Luffy x Fem!reader

It's a dangerous world out there, and you'd know it better than anyone else. You were born into the pirate era Gol D. Roger had started and how much his fabled, legendary treasure had drawn many to the vast oceans. Curious enough, you'd hear an earful of gossip and tall tales about a young man who had started a reign of rebellion against the government along with his crew.

But it's been five years since Monkey D. Luffy had taken his place on the throne as the Pirate King, and the craze had just about ended. He's oddly mysteriously vanished and nobody has heard anything of him since, many think he's died or hiding from the broken world government.

Once you were old enough, you set sail to live on a different island other than where you had come from. You find yourself venturing onto Dawn island and into Foosha Village, your new home. Working with Ms. Makino at the Partys Bar is easy and humble, and hearing stories from older individuals about the world outside feeds your imaginative mind.

Everyone talks about Monkey D. Luffy often, since this village seems to be where he was from. The fugitive wasn't exactly on your mind 24/7, but you couldn't deny the stories peaked your interest. Especially over the times he'd claim a higher bounty on his name, the festivities in his honor were always lively.

Life was otherwise peaceful for some time, until one day a stranger with a scar under his eye washed up on shore...
