Lalisa Manobal, also known as "Lisa," is an immigrant from Thailand. She used to be passionate in the performing arts and aspired to be an idol. On the day of her auditions, she received a phone call from her mother telling her that her beloved stepfather's ship had sunk in Alaska.

As she left an award show on the day the controversy broke, cameras started flashing nonstop. She drove to a secluded residential neighborhood in response to the heated dispute and found a small coffee shop to hide in for the time being.
