Eighteen-year-old Meredith was struggling to adapt to her family's environment, in which they treated her so badly. She must battle a system unwilling to accept her and give her the love that she has always wanted as a human. *** A college student, Meridith Romero, wishes to have a digital camera and dreams to be a photographer. But as soon as she always mentioned that stupid dream, well, that was what her family believed. They never supported Meredith's dream because, for them, it was just a useless hobby they couldn't use for a living. She does what's best for her even though it goes against her heart-to be an IT student instead. As she pursued and continued, she accidentally met a group of people inside her campus who convinced her to join a group of photographers on a quest to enhance the dream she wanted for. The journey takes Meridith on a path through challenging experiences, trials, and efforts in which the group of student photographers taught her the proper way of capturing and the importance of friendship, the trust and bravery that enter her weak self, and begins to discover her true passion and the importance of choosing the right path. "That was weird, but I can't stop my heart beating ten times faster than it should be. Laying down on the bed I face away from the bathroom door not wanting him to look at me. I pull the white cover up to my nose and look at the wall. I hear the bathroom door open and footsteps reach closer to the bed. The covers are being moved behind me as Mateo gets ready to sleep. I reach up to turn off the lap on my nightstand, and when I do we're left in the dark abyss of my room. Mateo's arm wraps itself around my waist and pulls me back into his hard chest. He gently lifts my head up and puts it back down onto his bicep. I take in a shaky breath and close my eyes deciding it is best to just sleep. Feeling his breath on the crown of my head, I'm more relaxed than I was before and start feeling sleepier by the second. But before sleep overtakes my mind. I hear Mateo mutter something. "Good night sweetheart." ~~~~~~ Moving on. Growing up. The fears of Mateo and Veronica. Two strangers who have been attending the same high school for the past three years. They believe they are different from each other but they have much more in common than they believe. Senior year things change when Mateo finds an interest in Veronica. She decides to give him a chance and see where the friendship goes. What she doesn't realize is that she's falling for him faster than she thought...and he feels the same. Through a camera lens, Mateo shows Veronica how to live her life to the fullest and that she is not alone in this big world. Meanwhile, Veronica is helping Mateo move on from the tragic incident that occurred in his family. Having faith and trusting that their relationship will stay strong.
